SCVA Mucha Exhibition MKI

Had the privilege of meeting Alphonse Muchas Grandson, head of the Mucha Foundation at the Sainsbury's centre for visual arts in Norwich, Norfolk. Mucha is a massive inspiration for my work and my upcoming Masters project. It was an amazing experience to hear 1st hand about Mucha's life and struggles as an artist. Here are 2 quick studies of Muchas sculptural works on display in the exhibition - No Photography allowed!

Spent 45 minutes on the left Study 'Head of a Girl' a beautiful Bronze, Silver and Parcel gilt Sculpture, with a second shorter 10 minute study of 'Princess Lointaine' an elaborate lighting feature piece. Looking forward to going back to take more detailed studies of different views for reference for my upcoming Masters Project. John Mucha kindly obliged in signing my study of his grandfathers work, which was a slightly surreal experience.

Over Due workspace shot - Penultimate submission pressure ;D

I have been meaning to post an image of my workspace(s) from my recent few years of retraining.

I have just upgraded from my basement Studio dwelling of the last couple of years to a new
B-e-a-utiful new 1st floor space with panoramic views.

Here's a shot of the Station a week before my Penultimate Masters Degree Submission:

Please note the Essential Andrew Loomis Bible and my recent edition of J. C. Leyendecker's back catalogue.
NB: Really looking forward to a post hand in traditional study at the Sainsbury's Centre for Visual Arts, Norwich - To see remaining works of Master 'Alphonse Mucha's' Exhibition.
